What is Cerakote?
Cerakote finish or coating is a great option for Guns, Flashlights and Tactical gear. It is one of the most durable finishes available. Essentially, Cerakote is finish that can be applied on various materials but is mostly used on metals and plastic. However, many Cerakote finishers also use it as a sealant for wood. Cerakote is a ceramic coating that is very resistant to many elements and abrasions. It works as a protective coating for products like guns, knives and flashlights. In recent years, Cerakote coatings have become extremely popular in the gun industry because of its high heat-resistance. This is one of the main reasons Fenix-Store.com has chosen Cerakote as a finish option for many of their most popular flashlights.
We have collaborated with top Cerakote professionals like Blowndeadline to bring you the one of a kind Fenix PD35 TAC Patriot Cerakote Finish Flashlight. Locally, we have also partnered with Brothers in Arms Tulsa to bring Cerakote lights for both our police officers and Firefighters. These models include the Fenix PD35 TAC Thin Red Line and the Fenix PD35 TAC Thin Blue line.
We are always working on new cerakote designs and colors for our Fenix flashlights. As many of you know, Cerakote coatings are available in various colors and patterns. Cerakote can also be used to make custom designs like camouflage Cerakote finishes and U.S. Flag Cerakote finishes. Cerakote is a much stronger finish compared to Duracoat, Ion Bond, or even GunKote.
