"I find this obsolescent version 2 of the Fenix E12 to be better than their new V.3 model. The older V.2 is shorter (by 0.2 inch) than the V.3, hence without a tail magnet, but the V.3's magnetic pull is too weak to be of reliable use anyway."

"Love these little lights! The run time on a single AA Battery is impressive. I have at least 70 lights and four of the E12s. Perfect for kits, edc or backup depending on the situation. The three settings are perfect for a light of this size. Don’t get me wrong this is not a high powered light and will not light up the back yard, but it is a very well built light with excellent run times on the most abundant power source around.
