"I keep mine on the night stand. It is a no frills simple to use rugged light. I has a straight forward switch located at the cap end with a metal cap for durability. There are two modes: one is for the turbo and strobe settings (if you have a home invader, you don’t have to fumble looking for these defensive modes). The other setting allows you to access all modes. The light is very powerful and has a beam distance of aprox 500 yards. You absolutely can’t go wrong with this one!"
