Solid Flashlight

"This flashlight is super solid. The design is very thoughtful given the criteria. The battery is secured very well. It's a shame it doesn't use a USB C port for charging, but the port it does include is sealed pretty securely. The only thing this flashlight doesn't have that would make it perfect is a magnetic attachment. The back end of the flashlight seems like it would be perfect for fitting a circular attachment that hooks into the four holes and then offers a magnetic surface on both the back end and a magnetic plate along the side of the flashlight. The light seems like it will be perfect for general purpose use in industrial environmens. This is a very durable, purpose built flashlight."

Simple LED Flashlight Operation

Operating the Fenix WF30RE intrinsically safe flashlight is easy and doesn't have much of a learning curve to it. It has a single side switch that allows you to turn the light on and off and select which brightness level you want. Simply hold the switch for half a second to turn the flashlight on and off. When the flashlight is on, you can single click to cycle through the brightness levels starting with low and going to high. The WF30RE features a memory circuit so the light will remember the last brightness level you used and turn on to that brightness level the next time you use your light. With this light, you have four outputs: high of 280 lumens, medium of 120 lumens, low of 30 lumens, and a strobe mode of 280 lumens. Between these brightness levels, you're set for a multitude of situations. The low brightness level will conserve the battery more and is great for close-up work or illuminating your path. The high brightness level lets you see a bit further and is better to use if you need to light up a wider area.

Versatile LED Light that's Ready for Anything

We covered two of the biggest features of the WF30RE, but there's more to discuss with this light. It uses a neutral white LED and has an orange peel reflector which means that you're going to be seeing a very soft and diffused beam that's easy on the eyes. Neutral white LEDs provide a mellow light compared to a cool white LED thatâ€™s sharp. So with the WF30RE, the neutral white LED won't feel harsh on your eyes making it easier to do daily tasks.

Another handy feature of the Fenix WF30RE is the battery level indicator.
