Fenix-Store.com is the brand-licensed retailer of Fenix light products in the United States. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and our return policy is designed to help you feel comfortable making a purchase knowing you can return your light if you have any problems or are not completely satisfied. We also provide factory-authorized warranty and repair service - even for Fenix lights purchased from other retailers!

In the rare case that you have a problem with your light, or you just want to return it for something different, please read through your options below.

- Option 2: Store Credit. Your credit will be applied as soon as your item is received and inspected at the returns center. At that point, customers are able to purchase a new product immediately, without waiting for inspection and repairs to be made. As an added bonus, customers will also receive free shipping plus 1000 Lumen Bucks (redeemable for $10 off a future purchase) if returned for store credit.  

- Option 3: Factory repair service. The item will be inspected when received at the returns center and an assessment will be made to determine if the item is repairable. If the item can be repaired, it will be fixed and sent back to you as soon as possible. If the item cannot be repaired, a replacement will be sent. For this option, customers will have to pay for return shipping and wait for the inspection and repair process. Repairs can take several weeks, depending on service center workload and parts availability.

Notes regarding returns for refund or store credit:

Note 1: Except in the case of defective items, items returned for a refund or store credit must be in like-new condition and, except for items that can't easily be opened without damaging the packaging, the original packaging must not be torn. Additionally, your return package must contain all batteries and accessories that were originally included with the item. Items returned with damaged box packaging or with missing accessories or batteries may incur a 20% restocking fee. 

Note 2: Your refund or store credit will be processed after we receive your item at our returns center and confirm the item's condition. Customers will receive store credit equal to the amount paid for the item if a record of purchase is available or a receipt is provided. If a receipt is not available, customers will receive store credit equal to the current listed price of the item. 

Note 3: If the returned item cannot be repaired or if the same model is no longer available, you will receive a store credit for the original purchase value of the light.

Notes regarding returning a product for a replacement:

Note 1: If you return a product with a defect for a replacement, our team will first test and verify that the product is defective. If no defects are found (user error) you will have the option to get your returned unit back or receive a refund/store credit depending on the return period. Replacements will not be sent for non-defective items.

Note 2: If our investigation reveals that the included battery is defective, but not the flashlight, only the battery will be replaced.

  1. How do I register my Fenix flashlight/headlamp?
    New flashlight purchased should be registered by filling out the warranty registration form. This will earn you an additional 6 months of warranty added on to the standard 2 or 5 year warranty!

  2. What is the Fenix warranty?
    Below is the manufacturer's warrantyThere are three categories of warranty. Check below to see which warranty your product has. The Fenix warranty covers the cost of repairing your unit. New replacement units are not offered unless the item is not reparable. Note that the cost of shipping units to us for repair is not covered under warranty. Shipping back to you upon repair completion is offered at no cost. Please note that a proof of purchase may be required to begin the warranty process.
     

    Fenix Products Manufacturer's Warranty

    CATEGORY 1:
    Flashlights, Headlamps, and Bike Lights.
    (includes all lights which ship WITHOUT rechargeable
    batteries and those lights which ship WITH

    Full-Coverage Warranty: All parts and labor are 100% free when an item is covered under the full-coverage warranty. Items in this period that are non-repairable will be replaced with a new unit at no charge (comparable model or store credit may be offered if the model in question is no longer available).

    Limited Lifetime Warranty: For the limited lifetime coverage, all labor is free but there may be a charge for replacement parts. Any parts used in the repair are charged at cost, without markup. Items in this period that are non-repairable will be replaced with a new unit at a significant discount (a comparable model may be offered if the covered item model is no longer available)

  3. What does the Fenix warranty cover?
    The standard warranty covers manufacturing defects.  Accessories included with a flashlight (such as pocket clips, lanyards, and holsters) are not covered by the warranty.  Normal wear is not covered by the warranty.  Battery leakage is not covered under the warranty.  You are purchasing a high-quality flashlight, so it is recommended that you select high-quality batteries to the specifications for your torch.  All alkaline batteries will leak if left unused over a period of time.  If you aren't going to use your flashlight for 2 weeks or more, it is recommended you remove alkaline batteries to minimize the chances of battery leakage.

    Before returning your light for repair, please see if performing some maintenance will correct the issue. Remember, maintaining your light according to these suggestions will provide a longer product life. (Even if you don't see your model, these maintenance tips apply to most lights.)

  5. How do I return a product from your website--I decided I don't want it?
    We offer the option to return your product for a refund or for store credit within 30 days of purchase.  During the returns process you will have the option of selecting if you would like a refund back to your original payment method or a store credit applied to your account. CLICK HERE to set up your return.

    In the majority of cases, we are not able to accept returns on lights purchased from anywhere other than Fenix-Store. In the rare event that a flashlight not purchased on Fenix-Store is accepted you will be given a store credit only in an amount equivalent to the final retail price of the model in question at the lowest sale price (including coupon codes) within the last 90 days.

  6. My Fenix flashlight quit working within 30 days of purchase or has a defect upon arrival.  What do I do?
    Any product which quits working in the first 30 days of purchase will be replaced with a new product.  Please first search for you lights on our Knowledge Base and FAQs page and try the troubleshooting options available there. If the troubleshooting does not fix your issue, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of that page to set up a return. PLEASE NOTE: If a light with a battery carrier (TK35, TK35UE, BC30, TK41C, TK75, etc.) is returned and the only defect is the battery carrier, we may replace only that piece rather than the entire unit since the unit itself has no defects. This would also apply if it is found that only a battery is defective.

    ADDITIONAL POLICY REGARDING ELITE SERIES CERAKOTE FLASHLIGHTS:
    Sometimes minor scuffs and scratches may occur to the lens during the coating process. These minor abrasions are not considered returnable defects so long as they do not significantly affect the use of the flashlight. Elite Series coating is expected to last at least a year with only minor wear. Excessive wearing of the coating before that time may qualify for free re-coating. Wear after one year of use is not warrantied.

  7. My Fenix flashlight is over 30 days old, and it quit working.  I am still covered under the warranty. What do I do?
    All Fenix flashlights and other electronic products have some sort of warranty which you can view above. Fenix-Store will perform warranty work on Fenix products purchased through Fenix-Store and other some other select retailers. Customers purchasing from Fenix-Store are entitled to free return shipping for the life of the warranty. Customers who have purchased their flashlight from a different retailer may have to purchase their own shipping label. We will ship the product back to you at no charge. You will not be charged parts or labor for any warranty work.  Please first search for your light on our Knowledge Base and FAQs page and try the troubleshooting options available there. If the troubleshooting does not fix your issue, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of that page to set up a return.

  8. My Fenix flashlight is outside of the full-coverage warranty period.  What do I do?
    Fenix offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty. There is a full-coverage period where both parts and labor are covered. See above for details. After the Full-Coverage period is over you have a Limited-coverage Warranty or the life of your light. Repairs will be made with no labor charges and as long as parts are available from the manufacturer.  You will be charged for the parts needed to repair your light.  You are to pay shipping to the address provided in the Warranty and Repair Fom. We will cover shipping back to you after the light has been repaired. Please first search for your light on our Knowledge Base and FAQs page and try the troubleshooting options available there. If the troubleshooting does not fix your issue, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of that page to set up a return.

    If parts are no longer available for your flashlight, you will be offered a discount on the purchase of an upgraded model.

  9. How long does it take to get warranty or service work done?
    Fenix-Store facilitates most repairs in our local Oklahoma Repair Center. For the products which can be repaired in our Oklahoma Repair Center, repairs are normally done within 2 weeks of receipt as long as parts are available.  There are times when we are out of stock on certain parts. You will be notified of the progress.

  10. Am I charged for warranty work?
    For flashlights still under the full-coverage warranty, you will pay nothing if the light was purchased from Fenix-Store but may need to purchase a shipping label if the light was purchased from a different retailer.  You will not be charged parts or labor for warrantied flashlights. Fenix Store pays to ship the item back to its owner.

    For flashlights out of the full-coverage warranty period, return shipping will be free if the light was purchased from Fenix-Store. You may need to purchase a shipping label if the light was purchased from a different retailer. Customers will be charged for any parts needed to make the repairs but not for labor and shipping from our service center back to the customer will be free.
