The upgrade that everyone has been waiting for is almost here. The Fenix BC30, which for many years has been the ultimate bike light, is getting a massive update in 2020. The prototype was released at Shot Show 2020, and we now have one in our offices. Fenix Flashlights has revealed that this BC30 V2.0 could have a potential max output of 2200 Lumens with a max beam distance of 187 meters. One very nice feature that they also included in this new BC30 V2.0 is the wireless control that will connect either through Bluetooth or NFC. The expected outputs are as follows, Burst mode at 2200 Lumens, high at 1500 lumens, mid 600 lumens, low 200 lumens, and eco 50 lumens. We know that the BC30 is known for being able to use rechargeable batteries, and it looks like this upgraded model will not be any different. This model will be powered by either two rechargeable 18650 batteries or four CR123A batteries. This bike light has not been released, and pricing details are not current.
